The flourless chocolate liqueur cake is one of the most successful cakes at my house, and considering that I personally adore chocolate….!!!!
If you are fond of dark chocolate like me, this cake will be trouble; there will be very little left to offer!!!
This is a very delicate dessert, but with an incredibly soft and delicious interior.
Great for breakfast to start your day with energy, but also for your children’s afternoon snack.
Since the cake contains no flour, it can also be enjoyed by those intolerant to it.
For this recipe, I used Terralcantara chocolate cream, which, like all their products, is exceptional, try it!!!
Well, if you love desserts and especially chocolate, enhancing its flavor with liqueur, you just have to try it, you will be captivated.

Ingredients to make the Flourless Chocolate Liqueur Cake
- 7.8 oz 75% Dark Chocolate
- 4 medium eggs
- 5.6 oz Sugar
- 3.5 oz Butter
- 0.25 cup Potato Starch
- 2 tbsp Terralcantara Chocolate Cream (alternatively use 1 tbsp sweet cocoa + 2 tbsps rum)
- 0.7 oz Powdered Sugar
Preparation of the Flourless Chocolate Liqueur Cake
Using a mixer, beat the egg yolks with the sugar and separately whip the egg whites until stiff.
Chop the dark chocolate into pieces and melt it with the butter; once the yolks are whipped, add the melted and cooled chocolate, then add the chocolate liqueur and mix well.
Finally, add the potato starch, incorporate all ingredients well and gently fold the whipped egg whites into the mixture using a spatula.
Butter and flour a cake pan, pour in the mixture, and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 25-30 minutes.
Once baking is complete, let the cake cool well and then transfer it to a serving plate, being very careful due to its delicacy.
