Ingredients for the Margherita Cake with Chocolate

  • 3 Eggs
  • 7 tbsps Butter
  • 1.5 cups Sugar
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Potato starch
  • 1 cup Whole milk
  • 5 oz Dark chocolate chips or flakes
  • 1 Packet and 1 tsp of baking powder

Preparation of the Margherita Cake with Chocolate

  • Whip the egg whites with the sugar, then add the yolks, the baking powder, then the milk and gradually all the other ingredients.
    When the batter is ready to be baked, add the dark chocolate flakes.

    Butter and flour a cake pan about 10 inches and pour the mixture.

  • Preheat the oven to 356°F and bake for about 40 minutes.
