Pancakes are a traditional dessert for breakfast in North America, with many variations worldwide.
They are really delicious and quick to make. You can serve them with a drizzle of Nutella, or the classic way with maple syrup… too delicious!!!
However you top them, they’ll be delicious, even with fruit.
Try making them for your kids, and you’ll see how much they’ll appreciate them!!!

Ingredients to Make Pancakes
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 2 tsps Baking powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- 2 tbsps Brown sugar
- 1 cup Whole milk
- 2 Eggs
- 3.5 tbsps Butter
- 1.7 fl oz Maple syrup (or honey) calories calculated with maple syrup
How to Make Pancakes
Beat the eggs with the milk using a whisk, then add the flour along with the baking powder, salt, and sugar.
Add the melted butter and mix until you get a smooth batter (the batter should be quite thick; if you use large eggs, add a bit more flour).
Heat the pan with a knob of butter.
Pour the batter using a small ladle, forming circles about 3 inches in diameter.
As soon as bubbles start appearing on the surface (after about 1 minute), flip the pancake and cook for another minute on the other side.
Stack the pancakes on top of each other and keep them warm.
