I filled them with sausage meat, but of course, you can fill them however you like.
Pizza is always a good idea that you can never say no to and these muffins are a great alternative to classic pizza.
With the dough that we usually use as a base for pizza, we can create many variations and I think this is one you can’t miss trying.

Take a medium-large bowl, put in the warm water, the yeast, and let it dissolve.

Leave to rise in the container, covered with plastic wrap for at least 2 hours and until doubled.
Once risen, transfer the dough to a floured work surface and work it until a compact but soft dough is obtained.
Pass the tomatoes through a food mill, put them in a bowl and season with extra virgin olive oil, salt, and oregano, and set aside.
After the resting time, with a muffin pan, take the dough, roll out pizza circles about 6 inches in diameter
place each in a hole of the muffin pan, season first with the prepared tomato, then with sausage meat, and finally grate the smoked provolone on top.
