Quick Bread

Quick bread is one of those alternatives to store-bought bread that I definitely prefer to make at home with great satisfaction.
This is a variation of classic bread, but I must say that each dough has its own personal touch that enhances the flavor in many ways.
This version of quick bread is an ideal solution for those who want to prepare bread in a short time without having to work the dough too much.
This type of bread will have to rise like many others, but it is quick because the rising and preparation times are a bit shorter.
In less than 3 hours or so, we will have homemade bread that is also baked within these timeframes.
With these ingredients, I made two small loaves of bread, and I must say they were really good!
Follow my recipe and make my bread in a contained time.
If you make this recipe, or others on my blog, feel free to send me a photo of your recipe, if you like, I will post it on my FB page in your name.

Mix well for a few minutes until you get a sticky and well-worked dough.
Dust the entire surface with flour and leave to rise for an hour and a half.

  • After the time has elapsed, take the dough and place it on a floured work surface and work it quickly, then divide it into two parts and place them well spaced on the non-stick baking tray.
You can also work it directly in the bowl to create a ball and then divide it in half and then move the two resulting balls onto the tray.

  • Leave to rest for a maximum of another hour, they should rise a bit.

  • Bake in a hot oven at 465°F for about 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

My name is Francesca Mele, and "Lo scrigno del buongusto" is the name of my blog. I am a true Abruzzese, and after several years with a cooking website, I decided to start a blog. I have been online for a total of 12 years now, so many of you have known me for a long time! I love cooking and I am neither a chef nor a professional cook; I simply have a passion for cooking, preparing, and inventing new dishes. The recipes you find on my blog are not copied, and even the photos are not downloaded from the internet; they are my own.
