Spelt bread with a bread machine is another recipe I experimented with using the Croustina Panasonic bread machine, although the first time I made it, I used another Panasonic machine.
Those who know me know that I don’t like machines that do everything by themselves, but I must say this machine won me over, it is very useful, especially for those who work and have little time, but at the same time would like fresh and genuine bread at any moment.
This appliance is very suitable, you program it, and you can have the bread ready for when you want it.
If you have the chance to buy this machine, I’m sure you will be very satisfied.
In this recipe, I also used spelt flour because I sometimes like to use alternative flours to the classic ones. As you can see, during cooking, the surface slightly lowered, but it did not affect the success and taste of the bread.
Often, if the dough sinks on the surface, it might be because we are using heavier flours, like in this case, and it doesn’t cause taste issues or other problems if it is slight.
For this reason, I photographed the bread by flipping it because it looked prettier that way.

Preparation of Spelt Bread
Take the bread machine basket, place the kneading blade, flour, sugar, salt, yeast (away from the salt), butter, and water, insert the basket into the machine and close the lid.
Select the dough program, on mine it’s button 17 and lasts 45 minutes, let it work for 30 minutes.
Once the machine has worked for the specified time, leave it with the machine turned off, let it rise for 1 hour, then transfer it to a floured surface and make folds.
Remove the blade from the basket, put the dough back inside and let it rise again until almost to the edge of the basket.
Once risen, turn on the bread machine and set button 13 for baking only and set the time for 1 hour.
After baking is complete, remove the basket from the machine, let it cool for a few minutes, and then take out the bread to cool on a wire rack.
