Spelt Salad

Spelt salad is a very useful dish to prepare in advance if we want to bring a meal to the beach in summer.
I personally love it because it is complete with everything, and often for me, it is a solution in summer when I go to the sea with my family.
It keeps in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
It is simple to prepare, rich yet not overly caloric, and very convenient, so follow my recipe and make the spelt salad.
If you make this or any of my other recipes on my blog, feel free to send me your photos and I will post them on my FB page under your name.

Preparation of Spelt Salad

  • Take the spelt, put it in a large container and wash it well, then put it in a pot for cooking with plenty of water.

Once cooked, drain it and season it with already drained dressing for rice salads, add the drained tuna, artichokes, and finally the mayonnaise, mixing well.
Put everything in the fridge for at least 3 hours before consuming it, as it needs to cool down well.

My name is Francesca Mele, and "Lo scrigno del buongusto" is the name of my blog. I am a true Abruzzese, and after several years with a cooking website, I decided to start a blog. I have been online for a total of 12 years now, so many of you have known me for a long time! I love cooking and I am neither a chef nor a professional cook; I simply have a passion for cooking, preparing, and inventing new dishes. The recipes you find on my blog are not copied, and even the photos are not downloaded from the internet; they are my own.
