Stuffed Pan-Fried Flatbreads

The stuffed pan-fried flatbreads are truly delicious, and the best part is we can cook them in a pan, making them perfect even for the summer when you don’t feel like turning on the oven.
With the amount I used, you get only 16, but if you have kids, they’ll devour them in no time… I recommend making a double batch!
My flatbreads lasted just a few hours.
In no time, you can create a great snack or prepare them in the evening to enjoy for breakfast.
So what are you waiting for? Start kneading and make my super delicious flatbreads!
If you make this or any of my other recipes on my blog, feel free to send me your photos, and I’ll post them on my Facebook page with your name.

  • 3 oz sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 0.5 cup whole milk
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3 oz Nutella®
  • 0.5 oz powdered sugar

Preparing Stuffed Pan-Fried Flatbreads

  • Let’s start preparing the flatbreads by combining all the ingredients, starting with flour, salt, and sugar, then add the EVO oil, warm milk, and baking powder, knead everything and form a ball.
Divide into 16 balls, each slightly larger than a walnut, using floured hands to make them less sticky… of course, if you make them smaller or larger, you’ll get more or fewer flatbreads.
Flatten each ball into a small pizza, fill with a teaspoon of Nutella, flatten another pizza and place it on top of the filled one, seal the edges well and set aside.
Do the same with the other balls to make all the flatbreads.
Prepare a pan with a not too thin bottom, heat it, and place the flatbreads, cover with a lid and cook on very low heat for about 5-6 minutes, turning them as needed.

  • Once cooked, move them to a plate and let them cool, then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
They are delicious both warm and cold.
