Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (I use spelt)
- 7 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp baking powder
- zest of one orange
- zest of one lemon
- 2/3 cup water (Warm)
- 7 tbsp peanut oil (Or whatever you prefer)
Steps
In a bowl, mix the egg with the sugar, then add the oil and the water slowly. Add the grated citrus zest. Begin to incorporate the flour and the previously sifted baking powder into the liquids. Add them gradually, a little at a time. The dough will be very creamy. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and, using two spoons, start placing the dough. Bake at 350°F in a preheated static oven for 15 minutes
The soft citrus cookies are ready to be enjoyed.
