  • 12 oz Nutella®
  • 2 1/8 cups whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 packet vanillin

Preparation: Pan di Stelle Cake

Preliminaries

Set aside 25 cookies that you will use to decorate a 8 11/16 in springform pan.

Choose the serving plate you want to use for the cake and place the pan ring on it.

  • Whip very cold cream in a bowl that has been chilled in the refrigerator, adding one teaspoon of powdered sugar so it becomes firm.

  • Soften the Nutella in the microwave or using a bain-marie.

  • Dip one cookie at a time in the milk and place it on the bottom to create the base.

  • Once the base is formed, spread a layer of Nutella and smooth it with the back of a spoon.

  • Add the whipped cream and continue with a second layer of cookies, Nutella and cream.

  • At this point take 12 cookies and place them on the surface of the cake.

    Keep the remaining whipped cream in the refrigerator.

  • After resting time, remove the springform ring and use a spatula to spread whipped cream along the sides of the cake and smooth. Dip the remaining Pan di Stelle cookies in milk and place them around the cake. Finish the border with whipped cream, then return to the fridge to rest for one hour.
