  • 1 2/3 tsp instant baking powder (for savory preparations)
  • 3.5 oz green olives in brine (or see recommendations)

  • Put the egg, the oil, the grated cheese, salt and pepper in a bowl and mix until you obtain a liquid, fairly smooth mixture.

  • Now add the flour and the instant baking powder for savory tarts and mix until you obtain a homogeneous dough that tends to crumble.

  • It’s time to add the olives sliced into rounds, and knead very gently to avoid breaking the olives too much.

  • With the dough obtained, form 20 balls and place them well spaced on the baking sheet previously lined with parchment paper.

    Gently press each one in the center, then bake in a preheated oven at 338°F for 15 minutes.
