The 5-minute chocolate chip muffins are light and delicate little treats, very soft, perfect for breakfast or a snack, they can be further enriched with a layer of cream or jam. The recipe is simple and super quick, my 5-minute muffins are gaining great success thanks to the ease of execution, the ricotta version and the chocolate version are absolutely my favorites.
Their success is due to their versatility and the very fast process, you will only need two bowls and a hand whisk to make the batter to bake.
The 5-minute muffins are flavored with orange and vanilla but you can vary the flavors as you like, being a neutral batter it is ideal for being filled, I recommend cutting it in half and filling it with custard and strawberries or with a delicious paradise cream. Have fun personalizing it and try the other variations as well:

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cups sugar
- 2 eggs (medium)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/3 cup peanut oil (or 6 tbsps of softened butter)
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon orange zest (grated or other flavoring to taste)
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons sugar sprinkles
Tools
- 2 Bowls
- 1 Hand whisk
- 1 Scale
- 1 Muffin pan with 12 muffin liners
- 1 Sifter
Procedure
Pour the eggs into the bowl with the sugar and mix very well. Add the oil, vanilla, orange zest, and milk.
Sift the flour with the baking powder in the other bowl.
Pour the liquid ingredients, little by little, into the bowl with the dry ingredients, mixing with the whisk to obtain a smooth batter. Add the chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the muffin liners placed in the muffin pan, it will make 12.
Sprinkle the sugar sprinkles on top of the batter.
Bake the muffins in a preheated static oven at 350°F for about 13/15 minutes.
Do the toothpick test to check if they are done; consider that each oven bakes differently and it may require a few more or less minutes.The 5-minute muffins with chocolate chips are ready, let them cool completely, dust with powdered sugar and serve.

The 5-minute chocolate chip muffins keep at room temperature for 3/4 days under the appropriate glass dome.
