The 5-minute chocolate muffins are super soft treats perfect for a delicious breakfast or a snack to share. Their light texture and melt-in-your-mouth chocolate will win you over at the first taste. The recipe is really simple; the batter mixes quickly without the need for special appliances, just a simple whisk and a bowl are enough.
Some time ago I made the more delicate version with yogurt which was very successful, and today I thought of making the chocolate variant. If you don’t want to use yogurt, you can follow the recipe for the 5-minute chocolate cake and bake it in a muffin tin to get 12 super soft cakes.
Chocolate muffins are perfect for those short on time but don’t want to give up a genuine homemade dessert. They are perfect at any time of day.
I flavored the muffins with orange zest and vanilla. If you prefer, you can customize them according to your taste; chocolate pairs well with citrus, bitter almond, coffee, or rum.
