The 5-minute yogurt and cocoa cake is a soft and delicious dessert ideal for breakfast or as a light base to fill. The recipe is very simple, part of my 5-minute cakes, it can be made in minutes without electric mixers, you’ll just need two bowls and a hand whisk to mix the batter, you’ll have the mixture ready to bake in no time.
Besides the classic cake, you can also make muffins or cupcakes, the baking time will be even faster, and you’ll get soft and delicious treats perfect for children’s birthdays or a buffet, just add a bit of nuts or chocolate chips to satisfy both kids and adults.
The yogurt and cocoa cake can be used as a soft base to fill, I made it with cream and vanilla and pistachio, but you can also use jams or hazelnut cream, and you can glaze it with a delicious chocolate ganache.
The cocoa cake is flavored with vanilla and orange, but you can replace the latter with other citrus fruits or spices, choose according to your taste.
