The coffee cream with water is a simple and quick preparation, ideal for those who want to enjoy a cold and light dessert with an intense coffee flavor. The recipe is made with 3 ingredients in 5 minutes and contains no cream, milk, or eggs, making it perfect for those who are lactose intolerant. Logically, it has nothing to do with the roundness of the coffee custard or the mascarpone coffee cream but is still very tasty.
Its creamy consistency is achieved through a correct balance between coffee, sugar, and iced water; you just need to whip everything with an electric whisk to create a truly delicious cold coffee cream.
The coffee cream can be stored in the fridge for a few hours without losing its soft and frothy texture, alternatively it can be frozen, in this case, it will become very similar to a semifreddo, when you need to serve it, leave it for a few minutes at room temperature to soften and enjoy it as a dessert by the spoon.
The sugar can be slightly reduced, but it is the ingredient that gives stability to the coffee cream, so I recommend trying the recipe with the indicated quantities, rather, if you like it more bitter increase the dose of coffee.

Ingredients
- 1.4 oz instant coffee (if you want a lighter and less bitter coffee cream, use 0.9 oz of instant coffee)
- 7/8 cup water (iced)
- 1 1/3 cups powdered sugar (fine granulated sugar is also fine)
Tools
- 1 Bowl large
- 1 Electric whisk
- 4 Glasses
- 1 Scale
Procedure
To get a delicious cold cream, we need 7/8 cup of iced water, I recommend putting it in the freezer for 15/20 minutes.
In the bowl, mix the powdered sugar with the instant coffee, add the iced water and mix again.
Start whipping the mixture with the electric whisk at low speed, when the coffee cream begins to thicken, increase the speed of the whisk and continue to whip the mixture until the cream is thick and velvety.
The coffee cream with water is ready, serve it immediately.
If you like, you can sprinkle it with bitter or sweetened cocoa and decorate it with some coffee beans.
