I dedicate a frozen cocktail to it that comes from the American half par excellence of couple trips and dream weddings… Hawaii.
The Blue Hawaiian, or Swimming Pool, is a Piña Colada with a splash of blue curaçao.
It is made with light, white rum, blue curaçao, coconut cream, and lemon juice, garnished with a slice of pineapple, maraschino cherry, and served in an Hurricane or Collins glass.
Although it is not a frozen cocktail, the ingredients are blended in a blender with crushed ice until a creamy consistency is achieved.
It is possible to add Prosecco or Champagne for the sparkling version.
Not to be confused with: Blue Hawaii which is also based on rum, pineapple juice, blue curaçao, but with the addition of a sweet and sour mix instead of coconut cream, and sometimes vodka.

- 0.67 oz blue Curaçao
- 3 oz pineapple juice (ideally extracted with a juicer)
- 1 slice pineapple
- 1 oz coconut cream

Steps
Put all the ingredients in a blender with crushed ice and blend for a few seconds, maximum 20 seconds.
Do not overdo it with the ice.
Garnish with a maraschino cherry, a slice of pineapple, and a cocktail umbrella.
