Rosquilletas de pipas (Spain)

The rosquilleta (plural rosquilletas), is a long-shaped bread typical of the Valencian Community.

Rosquilletas de pipas are made with flour, oil, water, yeast, and salt, and small seeds, in this case sunflower seeds, called pipas.

There are several varieties, from the classic with anise, to current varieties with algae, quinoa, cocoa, etc.

The recipe is dedicated to the song “Duecentomila ore” by Spanish singer Ana Mena, presented at the Sanremo Festival 2022, finishing 24th at the end of the event.
