Livorno-style cod is a delicious fish main course that is easy to make and full of flavor.

Ingredients
- 14 oz Cod fillets
- 3/4 cup Crushed tomatoes
- 1/3 cup Black olives (pitted)
- 2 tbsp Capers (salt-packed)
- 1 glass Dry white wine
- 1 clove Garlic
- Parsley
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt
Preparation of Livorno-style cod
Peel the garlic and desalinate the capers. Using a damp paper towel, clean the parsley and chop it.
In a large skillet heat a few tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil.
Add the garlic and let it brown, add the cod fillets and let them cook over low heat.
Add the desalted capers, the black olives and a little parsley, turning gently from time to time.
Deglaze with the white wine.
When the wine has evaporated, add the crushed tomatoes and let cook for about ten minutes, seasoning with salt to taste.
Serve your Livorno-style cod sprinkled with freshly chopped parsley as desired.
