Apple & Chocolate Puff Pastry Parcels

Apple & chocolate puff pastry parcels are one of those simple and quick desserts that always win everyone over.
Perfect for breakfast, as a delicious snack or as a last-minute dessert, they are a clever recipe to always have on hand.
The base is puff pastry, a versatile ingredient that lets you create crisp pastries in no time.
The filling is an irresistible hug of apple chunks and chocolate chips, a combination that smells like home and appeals to both young and old.
Preparing these parcels is really easy: just cook the apples in a pan with a little sugar and lemon, let them cool slightly and then add the chocolate chips which, with the residual heat, will start to melt a little creating a creamy filling.
At this point, just fill the puff pastry, close the pastries and bake until the surface is golden and crisp.
The result is a fragrant dessert, soft inside and crispy outside, ideal for lovers of easy but impressive recipes.
These apple & chocolate puff pastry parcels are also perfect for anyone looking for quick ideas to prepare with ingredients we often already have at home.
They are a good alternative to classic strudel or apple cakes, but with much shorter preparation times.
They also lend themselves to endless variations: you can add cinnamon, raisins, nuts or replace the chocolate with pastry cream or jam.
If you are looking for a quick, economical dessert that wins at the first bite, these parcels are the right choice.
A simple recipe, within everyone’s reach, perfect for those who love homemade desserts without complications.
Try them and you’ll see they will become one of your classics.
