Crostini with Sausage and Stracchino

Little desire to cook… Or simply do you have little time? Here is a fabulous, flavor-packed idea: crostini with sausage and stracchino. As always, simple things are always the best! The crostini are prepared with excellent stracchino cheese and good-quality fresh sausage, which make all the difference! The only problem is they’re addictive — you’d eat them endlessly, perhaps with a good glass of wine and unexpected guests! Ingredients

  • 7 oz Stracchino cheese
  • 4 sausages (about 12 oz)
  • 1 Baguette

How to make Crostini with sausage and stracchino

  • In a large bowl, crumble the sausage, then add the stracchino cheese and mix with a fork.

  • At this point slice the bread; in my case I used a baguette, but you can also use Tuscan bread or whatever you prefer and eat most often.

  • Now spread the mixture on each slice and transfer your crostini with sausage and stracchino to a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

  • Then bake for 10 minutes in a conventional oven at 374°F, then another 2 minutes under the broiler. Remove from the oven and serve hot!
