Sometimes you really don’t feel like cooking, or you have no ideas. Today it happened to me. Exhausted and no desire to cook. In the fridge, I had some vegetables desperate for a new life, so I decided to make a savory pie. I used what I had at home. You do the same. But if you want to try this recipe, you will need very few ingredients.
- Difficulty: Very easy
- Cost: Very cheap
- Preparation time: 10 Minutes
- Portions: 10 People
- Cooking methods: Oven, Microwave
- Cuisine: Italian
- Seasonality: Autumn, Winter
Ingredients
- 1/2 white onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 7 oz delica pumpkin
- 7 oz broccoli
- 7 oz purple cabbage
- 7 oz green cabbage
- to taste salt
- to taste olive oil
- 1 pinch pepper
- 4 eggs
- 2 tbsps grated cheese
- 1 sheet round puff pastry
- 3.5 oz mozzarella for pizza
Tools
- Frying pan
- Ladle
- Crisp Plate
Steps
Sauté the garlic and chopped onion in a pan with plenty of oil for a few minutes.
Then add the vegetables, season with salt, and cook for about 15 minutes. The vegetables should remain crunchy.
In a separate dish, beat the eggs with a pinch of salt, pepper, and 2 tablespoons of grated cheese.
Unroll the puff pastry on the crisp plate if you bake the quiche in the microwave, or in a baking tray if you bake it in the oven.
Pour in the vegetables, the beaten eggs, and the mozzarella. Cook for 15 minutes in crisp mode in the microwave. Or about 30 minutes at 390°F in the oven.
Good both hot and cold.
