Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 4 oz dark chocolate
- 1/2 cup sunflower oil
- 1/2 cup yogurt (I used coffee-flavored)
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet baking powder
- 3 tbsp chocolate chips
- to taste powdered sugar
Steps
To prepare the yogurt and chocolate plumcake, place the eggs with the sugar in a bowl and beat with an electric mixer until the mixture is fluffy and frothy. Chop the chocolate, melt it in a double boiler or microwave, then pour it into the whipped egg and sugar mixture, and mix well.
Now also pour in the oil, mix again, add the flour with the baking powder by sifting them, and work the batter with the electric mixer until smooth and lump-free. Add the chocolate chips to the batter. Pour the batter into a lined plumcake mold, level it, and bake in a preheated static oven at 350°F for about 35-40 minutes. Once cooked, let it cool in the mold, then serve it with plenty of powdered sugar on top.

The yogurt and chocolate plumcake keeps for up to five days; store it under a cake dome or wrap it in plastic wrap.
You can use milk chocolate, and also use milk chocolate chips.
You can substitute yogurt with the same amount of ricotta or milk.
