Apple jam with the bread maker is a quick and easy way to make delicious jam.
I made my jam with my Panasonic Croustina, but you can make it with other machines that have a jam program.
You can also make it with other types of fruit, and on the blog, there is also the version of classic apple jam.
I took advantage of the fact that my father gave me some apples from the orchard that he had picked early because they were spoiling and were not very juicy and sweet, so I opted for jam.
If you use sweet enough apples, you can also reduce the sugar a bit.
You can cut the apples and put everything you need directly into the bread machine’s basket, and it will take care of the rest.
If, at the end of cooking, you like to encounter a few pieces, then you’ll leave the jam as it is; otherwise, you can blend it with an immersion blender to make it creamy. If you replicate the recipe, feel free to send me your photos, and I’ll put them on my fb page in your name.

Preparation of Apple Jam with Bread Maker
Take the bread maker’s basket, insert the blade, peel the apples, cut them into pieces, and put them in the basket, add the sugar and lemon juice.
Insert the basket into the machine and start with the jam program, my Panasonic Croustina has program 18.
Let the machine work, at the end it will beep and you can transfer the jam into a large jar, but if you want it without chunks, just a few seconds with an immersion blender will suffice.
If you want less dense jam, just add 1/2 glass of water at the beginning of the program, or at the end, cooking it in a pot for a few minutes after adding the water.
Once in the jar, seal it well and immerse it in a pot with water to cover it completely.
Boil the pot with the jar, and when it starts boiling, leave it for 30 minutes.
After the time is up, turn off the heat, slightly set aside the lid and let it cool in the pot.
When it has cooled, we can store it in the pantry for future use.
If the jam will be used within a month or two, we could store it in the fridge without boiling.
