Crumbl Cookies with Peanuts and Chocolate

The crumbl cookies (or crumble cookies) are a richer version of the typical American cookies.

Crumbl cookies have gone viral on the web and can be seen in many versions, topped with creams and chocolates.

Today I show you my version: a cookie base with milk chocolate and peanuts, then topped with more chocolate and candied peanuts.

Making crumbl cookies at home is easy and fun, and the result will conquer the whole family!

Crumbl Cookies with Peanuts and Chocolate
  • Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • 2 3/4 tsp baking powder
  • 2 oz milk chocolate
  • 2 oz peanuts
  • 1 oz milk chocolate
  • as needed candied peanuts

Steps

  • To make the crumbl cookies, pour the flour, brown sugar, and baking powder into a bowl.

  • Mix and then form a well in the center where you will put the cold butter cut into pieces and the egg.

  • Knead and lastly add the chocolate cut into pieces and peanuts. Blend the ingredients until you get a smooth and compact dough. Form a ball, wrap it with cling film, and let it rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

  • Form balls with the dough (size as you prefer) and slightly flatten them with your hands.

  • Place the cookies on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 8 minutes.

  • Then remove from oven, gently flatten the crumbl cookies with a glass, garnish the cookies with pieces of chocolate and candied peanuts.

  • Put back in the hot oven at 350°F for another 2 minutes, or until golden brown.

  • Once baked, let them rest for 5 minutes then transfer them to the rack and let them cool completely. Enjoy!
