The creamy salmon and curry pasta is a first course rich in flavor and with a refined taste. I love first courses that come together in a few minutes and are very appetizing, and this pasta is one of them: its creaminess comes from the use of spreadable cheese which perfectly combines the salmon and the pasta. With a few simple steps you’ll prepare a delightful dish to amaze your diners!
- Difficulty: Easy
- Cost: Medium
- Preparation time: 10 Minutes
- Cooking time: 20 Minutes
- Portions: 2Servings
- Cooking methods: Stovetop
Ingredients
- 7 oz Pasta
- 7 oz Salmon fillet
- 7 oz Spreadable fresh cheese
- 1 tbsp Tomato purée
- 2 tsp Curry
- Half glass White wine
- to taste Chives
- to taste Onion
- to taste Salt
Preparation
To make the creamy salmon and curry pasta, pour a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil into a pan and sauté some chopped onion until soft; if you like, you can add a chopped chili pepper to taste.
Clean the salmon by removing any bones and cut the flesh into cubes. Add it to the pan with the onion, add the curry and sauté for a few minutes over high heat. Season with salt and deglaze with the white wine.
Then add the chives and the tomato purée. Cook over low heat for a few minutes, until the sauce has reduced.
Cook the pasta in plenty of boiling salted water; once cooked (preferably al dente) drain it and add it to the pan with the sauce.
Stir in the spreadable cheese and mix to combine the ingredients well; if necessary, add a little of the pasta cooking water.
Once the cheese has melted and you have a creamy pasta, serve at the table. Enjoy your meal!
