Savory tart with bresaola is a simple yet elegant recipe. It’s perfect when you want to bring something different to the table while keeping it easy to make; very versatile because it can be prepared well in advance and stored in the refrigerator. Also try the soft tart with ham and mozzarella and the soft tart with pesto.
Tart with bresaola is quick and easy to make and is prepared in a “furbo” tart pan (the stepped pan). The soft, fragrant base meets the freshness of the bresaola and a creamy Philadelphia-style filling makes every bite balanced and irresistible!
It’s ideal as an appetizer, for a brunch with friends or even as a light dinner. If you want to try the sweet version, see the soft Nutella tart. How to make savory tart with bresaola
In a large bowl, beat the eggs with a blender together with a pinch of salt and the yogurt.
Next, add the milk and then the oil in a thin stream while continuing to mix. Also add the sifted flour, the grated cheese and the baking powder.
Pour the prepared batter into a “furbo” tart pan (the stepped tart pan) about 11 1/2 in, buttered and floured, and bake in the oven at 356°F for 25–30 minutes, then turn it out onto a plate and let it cool.
Spread the Philadelphia-style cream cheese over the base of the tart, then lay the lamb’s lettuce and the slices of bresaola and the mozzarella on top.
Storage and tips for the savory tart with bresaola
The soft savory tart can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two days, well covered. Instead of spreadable cheese, you can use mayonnaise, while the lamb’s lettuce can be replaced with arugula.
