  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour ((about 180 g))
  • potato starch ((about 40 g))

  • 1 apple
  • powdered sugar

Steps

  • BUTTER AND SUGAR: Beat the very soft butter well with the powdered sugar, then add the grated lemon zest, add the eggs one at a time, and then the lemon juice and the milk.

PREPARE THE DRY INGREDIENTS: Sift the dry ingredients with the baking powder and fold them into the already beaten mixture. Cut the apple into pieces and fold it into the batter.

POUR AND BAKE: Pour everything into a bundt cake pan (about 9.5 in), buttered and floured, and bake at 356°F for about 35–40 minutes — always adjust according to your oven and perform the toothpick test. Once baked, let it cool completely and then dust with powdered sugar.

Tips…

If you like a cake rich in apples you can add more apples on top; you can replace the lemon with orange and the milk with yogurt.
