Ingredients
- 1 roll puff pastry (rectangular)
- 3.5 oz tuna packed in oil (well drained)
- 3.5 oz spreadable cheese (cream cheese)
- 1 egg yolk
Preparation of the Tuna Puff Pastries
In a bowl, mix the drained tuna and the spreadable cheese until you obtain a smooth mixture.
Unroll the puff pastry and cut it into three equal rectangles with cuts parallel to the longer side.Place the tuna and spreadable cheese mixture in a piping bag fitted with a large plain tip and pipe a strip of filling near the edge along the long side of each pastry rectangle, then roll the puff pastry around the filling to obtain three filled pastry rolls.
With a smooth-bladed knife, cut the rolls into pieces about 1 1/4 inches (approximately 3 cm) and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, keeping them slightly apart.
Beat the egg yolk with a splash of water in a small bowl and brush it over the pieces.Bake in a preheated convection oven at 356°F for 20 minutes.
Remove from the oven, let cool slightly and serve your tuna puff pastries.
