If you love the scent of citrus filling the kitchen, this orange and almond loaf will become one of your desserts favorites. Ideal to enjoy at breakfast, at the end of a meal or it could be the perfect excuse for a wholesome snack and, why not? a chance to taste it with friends during a chat. A soft orange cake to which I wanted to add the crunchy note of sliced almonds. It’s a very simple cake, one of those “cupboard cakes” that stay moist for days, thanks to the orange juice in the batter. The orange slices on top not only make it beautiful to look at, but create a delightful contrast with the loaf’s softness. Few steps, simple ingredients we already have in the pantry and success is guaranteed!
