  • 11 oz pasta (types: penne, farfalle, fusilli.. (about 3 1/4 cups))
  • 11 oz sausage (Toscanelli-style (about 0.66 lb))
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 garlic (clove)
  • 3/4 cup cooking cream
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

  • TRADITIONAL METHOD
    Brown the garlic and sausage: In a large pan, heat the extra virgin olive oil over medium heat. Add the whole garlic clove and sauté until golden, then remove it. Add the crumbled sausage (removed from its casing) and brown it for 8-10 minutes, stirring often.
    Add the cream: When the sausage is golden, pour the cream into the pan. Season with salt and pepper and simmer over low heat for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens.
    Cook the pasta: Meanwhile, cook the pasta in plenty of salted water. Drain it al dente, reserving a cup of the cooking water.
    Combine: Sauté the pasta in the pan with the sauce for 1-2 minutes. If needed, add some of the cooking water to make it extra creamy. Serve immediately.

    BIMBY VERSION
    Sauté: Put the garlic and oil in the bowl: 4 min. / 248°F / speed 1. Remove the garlic.
    Sausage cooking: Add the crumbled sausage: 8 min. / 248°F / speed 1.
    Prepare the sauce: Add the cream, salt and pepper: 8 min. / 248°F / speed 1. Remove the sauce and set it aside in a large bowl.
    Pasta cooking: Without washing the bowl, pour 700 g of water and salt: 8 min. / 248°F / speed 1. At the boil, add the pasta: time indicated on the package / 212°F / counterclockwise / speed 1.
    Finish: Drain the pasta using the basket and mix it with the prepared sausage and cream sauce.
