Dissolve the yeast in 3.5 tbsp of lukewarm water, and add it to the flours.

Add one egg, the salt, and half of the sugar.

    Start the machine.

Once the dough begins to form, add the other egg, the remaining sugar, and finally the oil.

Let it work in the stand mixer with paddle attachment for at least 10 minutes.

The dough should be smooth and homogeneous.

  • Once the dough is ready, cover the bowl with plastic wrap.

Let it rise until it doubles in a warm place.

  • Turn the dough out onto a floured work surface, and form balls of 40/50g of dough and cover again until they double, always in a warm place.

  • Fried Doughnuts
  • Take each ball and pierce in the center to shape it into a doughnut.

Heat the oil to 340°F, fry the doughnuts in a steel pot one or two at a time, turning them with a slotted spoon for about 3-5 minutes, frequently turning them to avoid burning, remove onto paper towels, quickly roll them in granulated sugar being careful not to burn yourself.
