  • 4 eggs

    Butter and flour a 8.5-inch cake pan or line it with parchment paper, bake in a preheated oven at 392°F for 40 minutes. Check the cooking with a skewer; if it comes out dry, then the cake is ready, otherwise continue cooking for another 5/8 minutes.
