- 10.5 oz frozen peas
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 coffee cups water
- 1 teaspoon chives
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric

Steps
To make the Pea and Onion Soup
First, peel the onions and then slice them. Proceed by heating the extra virgin olive oil inside the pot, and only after that, add the freshly sliced onions. Let them sauté for a few minutes over medium heat.
To continue, after a few minutes, add a coffee cup of water and let the onion soften over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes with the lid on.
At this point, remove the lid, add all the frozen peas, salt, and another coffee cup of water.
To finish with the ingredients, add the chives and turmeric, then cover with the lid and let cook over medium-low heat for about 15 minutes or until the peas are well cooked.
Finally, once cooked, place the pea and onion soup into a bowl and serve at the table!

Based on your taste, you can increase the amount of water to make the soup more or less liquid.
