Steps

For the Avocado Salad

  • First, cut an avocado in half, remove the pit, and then peel off the outer skin. Proceed by slicing the two halves of the avocado, first vertically and then horizontally to obtain cubes, which you should transfer into a salad bowl.

  • Similarly, continue by cutting the tomatoes. Remove the top end and cut the tomato in half to finally get cubes.

  • At this point, add all the chopped tomatoes to the salad bowl along with the avocado, and to complete, also add the baby lettuce.

  • To finish, season with salt, sesame oil, and cashews.

  • Finally, mix everything with a spatula or spoon. Once everything is blended, transfer a portion of the salad onto a plate or into a takeout container, and garnish with black sesame seeds.

Tip!

If you plan to take the avocado salad on a picnic, put it inside a cooler bag along with suitable ice packs.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

  • Can I replace some ingredients?

Absolutely! You can choose your favorite lettuce like arugula, iceberg, etc. Or you can replace the cashews with other nuts like walnuts, pistachios, almonds, etc.
The black sesame can also be replaced with the classic one, and if you want, you can use sunflower oil or olive oil instead of sesame oil.
