- 11 oz friggitelli (sweet Italian peppers)
- to taste extra virgin olive oil

Procedure to prepare Friggitelli in the air fryer
Let’s start preparing Friggitelli in the air fryer. Wash them well and remove any long stems, then pat them dry with paper towels. My peppers weren’t very large so I preferred to leave them whole; if you prefer you can also open them and remove the inner seeds and membranes. Place them directly on the air fryer basket in an orderly way without overlapping.
Now add some extra virgin olive oil. I find the oil sprayer handy so you use less; if you don’t have one, coat the friggitelli with oil in a bowl, toss so they are evenly coated, and then arrange them in the air fryer basket. Add a pinch of salt and set the air fryer to 356°F for 20 minutes. Halfway through, check the cooking and, if necessary, turn the peppers or shake the basket to move the friggitelli.
When cooked you’ll get Friggitelli in the air fryer that are golden and crispy. Transfer them to a plate, adjust salt and pepper, add a drizzle of oil if you wish, and serve hot.
