Fruit detox water, the trendy summer drink

in ,

The water detox flavored with fruit, to be drunk before and also during meals with pieces of fruit, sweetened or not, is particularly suitable for summer.
It encourages those who are not in the habit of drinking to do so and thus replenish fluids lost because of the heat and stay hydrated. It’s a novelty that originated in America, where the problem of obesity is constantly growing (today it also affects Europe and other prosperous countries) and it helps to follow a cleansing diet to eliminate toxins and waste. Drinking detox water from cheerful resealable jars with a straw while chatting and spending time with friends — even at the bar — is pleasant and trendy. It is, however, to be preferred by far to alcoholic beverages and carbonated aperitifs that bloat and warm you up.
