- Cooking time: 30 Minutes
- Cuisine: Italian
Ingredients
- 4 1/4 cups Whole milk
- 3 oz Unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 1/3 cups Sugar
- 5.3 oz Pure alcohol
- 2 1/2 oz Milk chocolate
Tools
- Small saucepan
- Glass bottle
Preparation
First, whisk together the cold milk and the cocoa in a saucepan, making sure no lumps form.
Heat over the stove and add the sugar. Stir with a spoon to dissolve it.
Bring the cocoa to a boil and continue stirring with a spoon so it doesn’t stick to the pan. Let it boil for about ten minutes after lowering the heat.
Melt the milk chocolate in a bain-marie and add it to the cocoa. This will make it even creamier.
Finally, add the alcohol to the cooled cocoa and mix well. The tested chocolate liqueur is now ready to be poured into bottles and can be enjoyed immediately. There is no need to wait as is usually the case with many liqueurs.
