When I want to put something tasty, showy and super indulgent on the table, I always make this savory puff pastry tart with mushrooms, sausage and scamorza. It’s a simple recipe but with a wow effect, perfect for an informal dinner, a hearty aperitif or a Sunday lunch. The puff pastry becomes crispy, the filling stays soft and gooey, and the ring shape makes it truly irresistible… one of those recipes that always disappears quickly!

Steps
For the preparation of the savory tart watch the video HERE.
Roll out the puff pastry on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. With a knife cut a large circle and trace a smaller one in the center, only marking the outline without cutting completely through the dough. Cut the pastry all around into strips, starting from the outer edge toward the central circle.
Place some ground meat all around the edge of the central circle. Fold the strips toward the center, creating a crown shape.
Brush with milk. Bake in a conventional oven at 356°F for about 20–30 minutes, until the pastry is golden. Remove the tart from the oven and add to the center: sausage,
mushrooms and scamorza. Return to the oven for another 15 minutes, until the cheese is well melted and gooey. Remove from the oven and the savory tart is ready.
