Steps for No-Bake Cold Cake
To make this delicious cake, start by blending the cookies, then place them in a bowl. Add the unsweetened cocoa and mix.
Cut the butter into pieces and melt it in the microwave for about 45 seconds.
Add the butter and mix to obtain a compact mixture.
Divide the mixture in half and pour one half into a 8-inch pan
Compact with a spoon to form the base of our cake.
Let it rest for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
Let’s make the cream:
Heat the milk without bringing it to a boil.
Separate the yolks from the whites, in a saucepan combine the yolks with sugar and mix with a hand whisk.
Add the cornstarch in two stages, always mixing with the whisk.
As soon as the mixture is smooth, gradually add the milk while stirring.
Put it on the stove and cook on low heat, also adding the white chocolate, until you obtain a thick cream.
Once you’ve achieved a good consistency, add the cream cheese and incorporate it.
Now we are ready to assemble the dessert, take the base from the refrigerator and pour the cream inside.
Level the surface with a spatula.
Take the remaining cookie crumbs set aside and cover everything.
Place the cake back in the refrigerator for 4 hours before removing it from the pan.
Ready to be served!
