The cream made from mascarpone and whipped cream is enriched with a delicious blueberry sauce that gives a fruity and slightly tart flavor. Cookies soaked in blueberry juice create a soft and delicate texture, while chopped hazelnuts add a crunchy note.

Ingredients

  • 5 oz cookies (about 1 1/2 cups crushed)
  • 1 cup heavy cream (for whipping)

  • 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese (about 120 g (4.2 oz))

  • Let’s prepare the blueberry sauce
    In a small saucepan put:
    the blueberries
    half of the sugar
    the lemon juice
    Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    When the blueberries are soft, turn off the heat and let them cool completely

  • Let’s prepare the cream
    In a bowl place:
    mascarpone
    whipping cream
    the remaining sugar
    Whip with electric beaters until you get a soft and firm cream.
    Add the cooked and cooled blueberries and fold gently.

  • Assembling the tile
    Dilute the cranberry juice with a little water.
    Lightly soak the cookies and spread some cream on top.
    Take another soaked cookie and sandwich them with the cream in the center.
    Place them in a row next to each other until you form a slab.

  • Decoration
    Cover the entire tile with the remaining cream.
    Decorate the edges with chopped hazelnuts and finish with decorations as you like.
    Place in the refrigerator for at least 2–3 hours before serving.
