Preparation
To make the chocolate and strawberry cake, prepare the base by blending the Oreo cookies and adding the melted butter. Spread the mixture on the bottom and up the sides of a rectangular pan with removable bottom (13 3/4 x 4 1/3 in). Press well with the back of a spoon and place in the fridge to firm up.
Prepare the ganache: bring the cream to a boil in a small saucepan. Place the dark and milk chocolate, chopped into pieces, in a bowl; pour the hot cream over them and let it melt while stirring with a spatula. You will obtain a glossy, smooth cream.
Pour the ganache into the tart base and level well with the back of a spoon. Wash and hull the strawberries and arrange them on the ganache. Let rest in the fridge for at least three hours.
Serve the chocolate and strawberry cake with chopped hazelnuts and mint leaves. Enjoy!
