I had some cold coffee in the fridge left over from yesterday morning, so I decided to make a coffee cremino, a chilled spoon dessert that is done in minutes. Whip the cold cream, add a couple of tablespoons of Nutella for that indulgent note, and slowly pour the cold coffee in while you continue whipping. No cooking, zero stress, just a soft, fragrant cream.
The coffee cremino is perfect when guests arrive at the last minute but you want to make a good impression. Try it in small cups, garnished with chopped hazelnuts or unsweetened cocoa: it’s a fresh and super quick dessert, ideal for summer, as an after-dinner treat or a snack to enjoy with coffee.

Ingredients
- 1 cup (about 8.5 fl oz) plant-based whipping cream
- 1/3 cup (about 3 fl oz) coffee (cold)
- 1 tablespoon Nutella®
- 1 tablespoon sweetened condensed milk
Steps
Prepare the espresso coffee and let it cool completely.
In a bowl, whip the very cold cream until you get a soft but not overly firm consistency, then add the Nutella and continue working it.
In another bowl, mix the coffee with the sweetened condensed milk and (if using) instant coffee.
Add this mix to the whipped cream folding gently from the bottom up so as not to deflate the mixture.
Pour the cremino into cups or small glasses and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Spoon the mixture into the cups, garnish with cocoa powder and serve.

Extra tips
Very cold cream makes all the difference: keep the bowl and beaters in the freezer for 10 minutes.
If you want more hazelnut flavor, add a tablespoon of hazelnut spread to the Nutella.
