Parsley powder: an easy and quick method to preserve it longer

Today I want to share with you one of the methods I use to preserve parsley. I don’t know about you, but I rarely have fresh parsley on hand. Usually my uncle gives me industrial quantities. Besides chopping and freezing it, chopping it with garlic and preserving it in oil, another method I often use is to dry it and turn it into powder. I use the microwave, but you can also use an air fryer. Choose the method you prefer.

  • to taste fresh parsley

  • Microwave oven

Steps

  • Wash and dry the parsley well. Remove the parsley stems and keep only the leaves.

  • Place the leaves on the microwave crisp plate and dry them for about 5 minutes.

  • At this point crumble them with your hands until reduced to a powder.

  • Or place them in a paper towel and rub with your hands until reduced to a powder.

  • Store it in the pantry in an airtight jar.
