The cream is made with mascarpone, whipped cream and fresh strawberries, with no raw eggs, so it’s really suitable for everyone. It’s a creamy, fragrant and very showy dessert, perfect to bring to the table after lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups strawberries
  • 1 cup mascarpone
  • 1 2/3 cups heavy cream (for whipping)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 7 oz ladyfingers
  • 1 1/2 cups strawberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • Half lemon

  • Prepare the strawberries
    First, wash the strawberries well and cut them into pieces.
    Place them in a bowl and add:
    the sugar
    the lemon juice
    Mix well and let them macerate for a few minutes so they release their natural juice.

  • Make the cream
    Take the strawberries (about 1 1/2 cups), wash and hull them, then chop them finely.

  • In a bowl put the mascarpone and the sugar and start mixing with a whisk.
    Add the heavy cream and whip until you obtain a soft, thick cream.

  • Finally add the chopped strawberries and fold in gently.

  • Prepare the soaking liquid
    Take the strawberries left to macerate and strain them, separating the juice.
    Let them drain well.
    If the obtained juice is little, dilute it with a little water.

  • Assemble the tiramisu
    Soak the ladyfingers in the strawberry juice.
    Arrange them in a row at the bottom of the baking dish.
    Using a piping bag add a layer of cream.

  • Spread some of the macerated strawberries on top.
    Second layer
    Add a second layer of soaked ladyfingers.
    Cover with another layer of cream.
    Decoration
    Finally decorate with strawberries as desired.
    Put the tiramisu in the refrigerator for a few hours before serving.
