  • 1 2/3 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Half packet baking powder (about 2 tsp)
  • vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 6 tbsp butter

  • Meanwhile, sift the flour together with the baking powder and place them in a bowl with the salt and sugar, then mix.

  • Melt the butter in a double boiler or in the microwave and let it cool slightly.

  • In another bowl, lightly beat the egg with a fork, add the vanilla extract, the milk and the melted butter, then combine everything.

  • Pour the liquid mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients, little by little, stirring gently until you obtain a smooth, homogeneous batter.

  • Line the muffin tin with paper liners (or butter and flour the molds). Spoon about 2 tablespoons of batter into each liner.

  • Place a frozen Nutella ball in the center of each and cover with more batter, leaving about 3/8 in (approx. 1 cm) from the edge.

  • Bake in a preheated conventional oven (no fan) at 392°F for 15-20 minutes, until golden.

  • Once baked, remove from the oven and let the Nutella-stuffed muffins cool. Transfer them to a serving platter and, if desired, dust the surface with powdered sugar before serving.

  • Enjoy and… see you next recipe!
