Steps for Sandy zucchini in the air fryer
Wash the zucchini well and cut them into sticks lengthwise.
Take a bowl and season the zucchini with one tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil, salt, garlic powder (optional), sweet paprika and finally 2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs, mix well, let them sit for 5 minutes.
Place the seasoned zucchini sticks into the air fryer basket lined with perforated parchment paper, spray a little extra virgin olive oil on the surface to brown the zucchini better.
My measured olive oil spray is also cold-pressed, so it is excellent and of quality (see Notes at the bottom).
Try to arrange the zucchini in the basket so they do not overlap.
Set the air fryer temperature to 320°F and program the cooking for about 20 minutes.
At the end of cooking, adjust salt, transfer the zucchini sticks to a serving plate, and serve them hot and crunchy.
Buying tips!!!
Personally, I am very happy with the convenient perforated parchment paper for the air fryer, non-stick and easy to clean, it can also be used in a conventional oven.
I often also use these very useful trays of Disposable parchment for air fryer, without holes they keep the fryer clean, while hot air still circulates because they are very thin. They are oil and water resistant, non-stick, do not burn and can also be used in the regular oven.
Finally, if you want to keep your air fryer clean and at the same time protect it from scratches and abrasions (e.g. from tongs) these Reusable non-stick, heat-resistant grill mats.
