The hazelnut tiramisu cake is an irresistible variation of the classic tiramisu. I make it when I want an easy, quick and super indulgent dessert, perfect for any occasion.

The cream is made with mascarpone, whipped cream and hazelnut spread, which makes it even richer and creamier. No baking required and it’s ideal when I have little time but want to impress.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (about 8.5 fl oz) whipping cream
  • 8.8 oz (about 1 cup + 2 tbsp) mascarpone
  • 7.1 oz (about 20-24 ladyfingers / savoiardi) ladyfingers (savoiardi)
  • 3.4 fl oz (about 1/3 cup) milk
  • 3.5 oz (about 7 tbsp) Nutella® (Or similar)
  • 1.8 oz (about 1/4 cup) sugar
  • unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 🥣 I prepare the cream
    First, I put the mascarpone, the sugar and the hazelnut spread in a bowl.
    I start working with a whisk.
    I add the whipping cream and whip until you obtain a thick, smooth and creamy mixture.
    ☕ I prepare the base
    I mix the milk and the coffee.
    I soak the ladyfingers and arrange them in the pan lined with plastic wrap, forming the first layer.
    🍫 First layer
    I add a layer of hazelnut cream using a piping bag.

  • I dust a little unsweetened cocoa powder on top.
    🍰 Second layer
    I place another layer of soaked ladyfingers.
    I add the remaining cream and spread it evenly.
    ✨ Decoration
    I decorate with:
    chopped hazelnuts
    unsweetened cocoa powder
    I put it in the refrigerator for a few hours to let the dessert set well.
