VEGETABLE SAVORY TART – the perfect dinner saver

in

Sometimes you just don’t feel like cooking, or you have no ideas. That happened to me today. Totally exhausted and zero desire to cook. I had a few tired vegetables in the fridge and decided to make a savory tart. I used what I had at home. Do the same. If instead you want to try this recipe you’ll need very few ingredients.

  • Difficulty: Very easy
  • Cost: Very inexpensive
  • Preparation time: 10 Minutes
  • Cooking time: 15 Minutes
  • Portions: 10 Servings
  • Cooking methods: Oven, Microwave
  • Cuisine: Italian
  • Seasonality: Autumn, Winter

Ingredients

  • 1/2 white onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 7 oz Delica pumpkin
  • 7 oz broccoli
  • 7 oz red cabbage
  • 7 oz green cabbage
  • to taste salt
  • to taste olive oil
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tbsp grated cheese
  • 1 roll round puff pastry dough
  • 4 oz mozzarella (for pizza)

Tools

  • Frying pan
  • Ladle
  • Crisp plate

Steps

  • Sauté the chopped garlic and onion in a pan with plenty of oil for a few minutes.

  • Then add the vegetables, season with salt and cook for about 15 minutes. The vegetables should remain crisp.

  • In a separate bowl, beat the eggs with a pinch of salt, pepper and 2 tablespoons of grated cheese.

  • Unroll the puff pastry onto the crisp plate if you’re cooking the tart in the microwave, or into a baking pan if you’re using the oven.

  • Pour in the vegetables, the beaten eggs and the mozzarella. Cook for 15 minutes in crisp mode in the microwave. Or about 30 minutes at 392°F in the oven.

  • Delicious served hot or cold.
