Stuffed peppers with meat in the air fryer or in the oven are a very tasty main course! I now make them at home almost every week, also because in the end they don’t take that long. And since I discovered the air fryer, a whole new world opened up to me!

Ingredients for Stuffed Peppers
- 2 bell peppers (about 1.1 lb (approximately 500 g))
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 1 pinch garlic powder
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- to taste chopped parsley
Tools
- 1 Bowl
- 1 Grater
- 1 Air fryer
- 1 Air fryer parchment paper
- 1 Knife
Preparation of Stuffed Peppers
1 – Place the ground beef in a large bowl together with the breadcrumbs, the grated Parmesan and the egg.
2 – Add the salt, pepper, garlic, nutmeg and parsley.
3 – Mix well with your hands until everything is combined.
4 – The filling is ready; now clean the peppers. Cut each pepper into 3 or 4 pieces, removing the ribs, seeds and any inedible parts.
5 – Fill each piece with some of the filling and when finished, preheat the air fryer to 338°F.
6 – Once hot, place the parchment on the base and arrange the stuffed peppers in the basket.
COOKING IN THE AIR FRYER: Spray a little oil and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Now cook at 338°F for 20 – 25 minutes.
COOKING IN A TRADITIONAL OVEN: Spray a little oil and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F (conventional) for 30 – 40 minutes.
NOTES
They keep for two days in the refrigerator.
