Mixed Canapés for Appetizer – No-Cook Finger Food

in

Mixed canapés for appetizer, another crostinofinger food for the aperitif, no-cook and delicious as always!

The base can be made with baguette slices toasted in the oven as I did, with sandwich bread grilled as well or using those little boat-shaped crostini you find at the supermarket, either classic or wholegrain.

I had frozen the slices of baguette I bought at the Aldi under my street on Via Dozza and I thought of using them, arranging them for 5 minutes at 428°F in the oven or in the air fryer.

This is one of the many appetizers we can make for the savory finger food buffet for the upcoming holidays, but they’ll be appreciated at any time of the year, for sure!

  • 2 slices camembert
  • 2 slices primo sale (cow's cheese)
  • 3 datterini cherry tomatoes (chopped into small cubes)
  • 1/2 avocado (thinly sliced)
  • 2 tbsp spreadable cheese

  • 1 walnut kernel (coarsely chopped)
  • 2 slices smoked salmon
  • to taste parsley
  • to taste dill

TOOLS

  • Knives
  • Trays

FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE RECIPE: MIXED CANAPÉS FOR APPETIZER

  • to assemble everything.

On all the crostini, without distinction, I put a little drop of EVO oil using the spray to avoid excess fat and to not soften the crunchy golden surface.

FOR THE FIRST CROSTINO ON THE LEFT IN THE PHOTO I place a slice of primo sale then a spoonful of chopped datterini cherry tomatoes and a little walnut kernel crumbled with the fingers. A parsley leaf and we move on to the second crostino!

  • FOR THE CROSTINO IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PHOTO I spread a little spreadable cheese on the base, then add a slice of smoked salmon and a few thin slices of avocado. A sprig of dill and we finish with the third crostino!

  • FOR THE CROSTINO ON THE RIGHT in the photo I put a slice of camembert (or brie if you prefer), a dice of datterini cherry tomatoes and a rolled slice of prosciutto crudo. Could I leave the crostino without some “green”? IMPOSSIBLE … so a few arugula leaves and … enjoy your meal!
